Another shooting in a ‘Gun Free School Zone’. Thanks NRA! “We think it’s reasonable to support the federal Gun-Free School Zones Act.” —NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre Congressional Testimony, May 27, 1999 Hearing Before 106th Congress

Beat me to it, WB. The GFSZA was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, but Congress just went back and snuck it back in again anyway.

And on gun rights, GOA and JPFO are better than the NRA.

The NRA proudly boasted they supported disarming law abiding Americans to effectively create “Kill Zones” ala Virginia Tech, etc.

“First, we believe in absolutely gun-free, zero-tolerance, totally safe schools. That means no guns in America’s schools, period ... with the rare exception of law enforcement officers or trained security personnel.” ~ NRA President Wayne La Pierre - 1999.

I guess he forgot the ‘shall not be infringed’ part.
