I am a season ticket holder for Ozzie and nearly puked when he said “Viva Chavez” after we won the World Series. Looks like Ozzie is waking up to the truth!
I remember him saying his mother hated Chavez but he was a little more sympathetic.
2005 was AFAIK before Chavez eliminated all remaining vestiges of democracy so maybe his option has soured since then.
Or since Ozzie is now a US citizen maybe he feels more free to speak out.
