I agree....

Why do they want names? any anyway’s if they have the names of the people on the census, they can look up those people and run a property (Title Search)

The whole thing sounds fishy!

The government has always taken names and ages and the government has always over stepped the authorization in the Constitution by using statutes. And those statues were and still are in conflict with the U.S. Constitution.

But they just keep adding - the the long form comes along - pages after pages of intrusive questions. The census form in 1980 - the long form was unbelievable - a thick booklet.

I once had some Hispanic woman census taker chase me around a condo complex. She cornered me one day and asked my name and I gave her a fake name and said goodbye - left her standing there.

I appreciate your comments but, as one who is researching family genealogy, I disagree with what you say about the form you show. It only shows the names of heads of household and the number of males and females who live in that household and their age catgegories...no names for spouse or children. I’ve hit a brick wall because of this kind of form. So many people had the same first and last names it’s difficult to know who belongs to whom without names of spouses and childen. The form might be great for a census count but terrible for searching family history.
