“American” is not a race. It’s a nationality. It’d be better to not answer than to write in a dumb answer, especially if you don’t intend to answer all the questions. If your intent is to provide only what is constitutionally allowable, then nothing except the number of people living there should be answered. You’re just looking for trouble if you’re inconsistent.
