The question of weather or not he's a Christian shouldn't be asked in this context, IMO, because...while an important issue to many/most (?) it wouldn't make him a usurper of the Constitution if he were/is. Not being a Natural Born Citizen, would make him a usurper, though.
The question should be "Do you believe he is a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution?" Or, better yet, "How can a Natural Born Citizen of the United States be born the subject to a foreign crown?"
"Rep. Broun wonders if Obama 'citizen'"
When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdoms dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.s children.http://fightthesmears.com/articles/5/birthcertificate.html
It can't. Of course not. Yet, right there, on his campaign web site F.T.S., it's stated that a foreign government "governed" Barry from birth and the reason it did, was that Barry inherited that foreign citizenship by way of his foreign national father (no matter where he was born).
How, then, could he possibly be a "Natural Born Citizen" of the U.S.?
Barry Soetoro, the divided citizen at birth!

Furthermore: Hawaii's Territorial Law, Chapter 57 - "VITAL STATISTICS, I", shown beginning pg 23 of 29, (the law in effect in 1961) allowed baby's born anywhere in the world to be eligible to apply for a Hawaii birth certificate based on the word of 1 relative. That is how a foreign born baby could get a HI BC on record, which in turn generates the "birth announcements" in the newspapers.
If he doesn’t know, he had a duty to call for proof of his credentials when the electoral college votes were tallied.
Indeed. However, so many of them haven’t a clue what their duty is...perhaps other than to screw the people.
Quote of the day!
Broun has a very good point that Congress is only authorized to do 18 things as detailed in Article 1, Sec. 8 of the constitution:
Section 8.
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
To borrow money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;
To establish a uniform rule of naturalization, and uniform laws on the subject of bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;
To provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States;
To establish post offices and post roads; (Broun cites this as authority for the interstate system and the FAA)
To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries;
To constitute tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court;
To define and punish piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations;
To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;
To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;
To provide and maintain a navy;
To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;
To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;—And
To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.
I believe, at this point, the ‘burden of proof’ would fall on those who would say, “yes, I do know”!
If the question were, “Do you believe that Barack Obama’s status as a natural born citizen was properly vetted for his role as President of the United States?”
then nearly every one of these congress critters would have to admit “No”
He burns more than than in Air Force One taking Michelle on cross country dates.
I wonder if the Liberal Fraud-Cons in the GOP, talk-radio, and Fox News will start calling Rep Broun a “nut” or a conspiracy theorist?
Sad is that there are many in the GOP, and the GOP media, who refuse to investigate Obama’s birth.....mock and smite those who have questions about it. Liberal GOPs, talk radio fraud cons, and Fox News ENABLE Obama by refusing to address the issue. They give tacit support to the Liberal Obama by not discussing the issue
It’s phony —
Uh, that would be $400,000 plus free public housing and food stamps.
Absolutely! If you ever get the opportunity, please ask him why he didn't.
Well put. And I might add the obvious: not being a citizen at all would make him an even more egregious usurper (if such is possible).
Ping!!!
Good point!
