It's not as if Patterson has any love for Obama or just about any other Democrat right now. After all, they are the ones roasting him, not the pubbies... I agree with you, but it's probably not even possible to get a special election in order before the House votes on healthcare (which they are saying should be before Easter).

I agree a special election won't take place before Easter. I disagree that a House vote will take place before Easter. It may all be a moot point now. He's supposed to resign effective 5:00 PM today, however he said in a radio interview that he may rescind his resignation. This is great. Dem party imploding.
