Not much doubt you’re right. If the Rats do pass this fiasco hopefully the Repubs will be able to reverse it when those same Rats go down in flames this November.

If they pass this, my guess is they will, it's the end of The Republic. Not that there is much of it left.

It’s ironic. This issue will kill the ‘Dims in November, 2010, but Obama can veto any Republican efforts to undo until he is upended in 2012. And the bill will still have only been collecting taxes, not having any real effect until 2014.

So this is a very potent poison-pill that haunt the ‘Dims for years and years.
