What the number says to me is that 25% are just as committed to a socialist/Marxist state as he is, 42% are not and 33% don't give a rat's rear end about this country. We need to get in touch with the 33% and convince them that the cushy way of life they have is about to be radically “transformed” into Barack Obama’s image of America and what that means. If possible we need to help relocate the 25% to the Socialist Utopia of their choice and let them try to ruin another country like they are trying to ruin ours. Imagine what a boon to the transportation industry that would be. I personally will use my own savings to relocate any unhappy socialist to another country provided they 1) renounce their American citizenship and 2) not be allowed back into this country for more than 3 days at a time 3) never be allowed any medical care in this country forever. Works for me and since they hate this country so much, it should work for them too.

I think this has been happenning already. His strongly approve numbers have trended down quite a bit since his election. Some people are just figuring it out faster than others, but they’re figuring it out. By election 2010 all but the die hard progressives will be weeded out.

So many of our "conservative" pundits are trying to sell the idea that what Obama wants is the European model of socialism--which is bad enough--but in my opinion, what he really wants is something much more like the Venezuelan or even North Korean model. I think we're in for a rough time of it.

I think that if he succeeds, the people who will be most surprised will be the fawning media. They think they'll have places of honor in such a regime, but historically, media types are the first to be purged. They'd best re-think all this support.

My Yuppie 35-year-old daughter, who doesn’t vote (except occasionally at my urging), is oblivious to the dismantling of America by the Demonrats. She says following the news or politics is too depressing/boring so she does not. With a family income of about 90K she and hubby will be prime revenue sources for the Obamanites. I try to tell her this but am cut off in mid-sentence. Too depressing, she says.
