The failure of the Dems to enact single-payer healthcare, carbon taxes, massive gov’t, etc when they were given a fillibuster-proof majority, may mark their destruction.
The hard left is ready to walk away from the Democrats and start their own party....shaped after the Green Party in Europe.
The Dems would be left with industrial, private-sector unions (which are declining) and the poor.
The Greens would take the liberal activists, homosexuals, SEIU (public-sector unions) and environmentalists.....the groups with the money.
We could be witnessing the end of a party.
I don’t think that people really realize that the Green Party is the Communist Party. Like Progressives, they change their name to fit the times.
