Think about the LaRouche youth movement potentially splitting the dems the way the Libertarians want the Ron Paul movment to split our side (not much differences either). Frankly, I would rather have some LaRouches than HopeyChanges. (I don’t like either but I know the LaRouches wouldn’t purposefully collapse the economy to try to make a socialist utopia.).

The State unemployment rate is 6-7%. Dallas from what I hear is fine. Nothing bad out of SA. When the news first came out about NASA, the screed called Houston Chronicle downplayed the news. Continues to attack the refineries. Even the attendance for the Barbeque cookoff for the Rodeo is was waaaay down.
Yet they continue to talk about nothing but how Great Zero is, and SJL won her primary. Now we have some stupid Ass Judge claiming the death Penalty is unconstitutional.
It is embarrassing.

I am so sorry Houston. Oh, by the way, until you straighten up, the rest of the State asks you change your name as so Sam Houston’s name not be sullied by your politicians.

She should start using the catch line of Ralph Kramden from the Honeymooners as a slogan but tweak it for Obama. It would read, “Pow! Right in the kisser! One of these days Obama, straight to the Moon!”

she might be GREAT and a true moderate Dhimmicrat...but be wary...take a look at MY new Senator from NY:

Gillibrand draws (gun) fire Sen. Kristen Gillibrand ripped the Band-Aid off her conservative stances on guns and gays early, flipping fully and completely from the views she'd held as the representative of a relatively conservative, rural district.

That seems to have allowed her to pick up support from New York Democrats, but it's now drawing her real fire from the right, which is doing its best to cause her some trouble in a Democratic primary.

“She took law-abiding gun owners in upstate New York for a ride and tossed them into the Hudson on her way into Manhattan,” NRA President Chris Cox told WABC Radio today, according to his spokesman, Andrew Arulanandam

My concern is that if any of these cultists loons manage to get into power...Other than that, they are pretty damn entertaining to watch.

I never really tried to learn about LaRouche because he didn't seem credible ... why bother.

But apparently here's someone influenced by him.

I DO like this statement from her site ...

"I realized that my generation and those younger had been given no future, and had been maliciously robbed of the knowledge of principles and methods necessary for building one. The standard institutions of higher learning had ironically become the biggest barrier towards students wanting a real classical education. "

This is Pete Olson's district, once belonging to Tom DeLay. Given that, and the fact that she is a NUT follower of Lyndon LaRouche I would say this is a waste of newsprint and bandwidth.

Let Huntsville take the name...they already have the statue.

I don’t think that people really realize that the Green Party is the Communist Party. Like Progressives, they change their name to fit the times.

Plenty of progressives among the republicans but we avoid talking about them and their numbers grow.

If memory serves me correctly, the best way to describe his politics is a deformed stepchild of Libertarians and Scientology.

People need to look a lot more closely at the races in their statehouses. Congressional races make a lot of noise but the in state races are just as important if not more so and people need to stop the Sesame street style of voting for the letter “R” or the letter “D”.

Lots of noise has been made about the forced unionization of home care workers in Michigan but little mention has been made about the fact that a few key republicans introduced and drove the legislation. They did it for the same reasons the democrats do it. SEIU undorsements and cash.

The hard left is ready to walk away from the Democrats and start their own party....shaped after the Green Party in Europe.

From your keyboard to God's ear!

The district is strongly Republican and has a GOP incumbent. This LaRouchie babe, in all likelihood, will be political history come November. In the meantime, the conventional leftist ‘Rats are going bonkers because she was able to win their primary.
