Looking at young men who are openly homosexual and announcing it to children who are watching them on television and who are supposedly idolizing them, is far worse than short-sighted.

It is denying the cycle of decadence that is destroying us from within by subverting our cultural heritage.

To consider today’s freaks no different than yesterday’s is to commit the intellectual crime of moral relativism.

What you need to do, in order not to be blinded by each tree in the forest, is to have a higher benchmark against which you compare where we are today.

When you do so, you’ll find out that we are in a cesspool. And we are in that swill purely because people like you keep saying, “Every generation thinks things are getting worse. Ergo, they are not, it is only a matter of perception.”

Again, seek a higher, stable benchmark and compare. Look at the stats that indicate where our culture is today (high teen pregnancy, high teen abortion, high teen drug usage, high teen suicide, high teen homosexuality) and I don’t think anyone who is reasonable and objective will say that we are better off today that fame-whores like Adam Lambert use their fame to push an ulterior agenda that is causing great harm.

What cultural heritage would that be? Puritan? Gold Rush era capitalism (which for the record is where I'd like to go back to in a perfect world.) Pre-WW2 isolationism? Post WW2 nuclear family? Drug sex and hippes of the 60s? Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll of the 70s? Drugs and decadence of the 80s? You pick a time, I guarantee you that drugs were a problem. Homosexuality was a problem. Teenage pregnancy wasn't that much of an issue; that's a Modern Moral Highground for folks to stand on. 14 year olds not too long ago were marrying age. Trust me, I see the forest. Trees don't blind me. So go ahead and let me know that I can't pick and choose where I can and can't look back in time and see how modern issues existed back when.

Truth is in all books, programs, movies, plays, there are /messages/message. Some are subtle, some are blatant, still the constant hammering away of the messages effect and alter how people think and feel. Sometimes covertly and others overtly. For good and for evil. Changes in a downward fall have happened to all the powerful successful nations of this world.

It creates a way of thinking that is accepting of the unacceptable ... Abortion, homosexual, political correctness, intolerance. Persecution of Christian beliefs, and suppression of ‘hate’crimes. In all its manifestations. And so it goes. Be aware.
