Same as Indian casinos. Blacks jealously look at the Indians and say “How come we aren’t getting ours?”
Same as those fake Hawaiians who are jealous of Indian casinos and want to be declared a tribe by the Feds so they can get in casinos and sit on their butts collecting a check.
Insanity on parade.
The problem with this...is that it happened fairly recently. We are talking about things done wrong in the 1970s and 1980s.
My dad got into this government program business back in the mid 70’s...where he got with the federal Agricultural Dept rep for the county...submitted the paperwork and eventually got around $7,500 for a irrigation project (he had to match a much bigger portion of the whole package himself). In this case, he had read up on the program...then got the county guy to spend half an hour covering the requirements.
A year later, my dad took advantage of some program to avoid growing on a smaller portion of the farm for a year...and got paid for what would have grown there. Again, there was paperwork and the help of the Ag agent.
So I understand the hostile nature of the blacks involved because they often got no help in going for the programs or support their neighbors were getting. Face it...if you’ve got fifteen pages of paperwork...the typical farmer needs some assistance in assembling an effort.
This isn’t like an entire generation having passed...like the Japanese war camps.
