Nathan Deal resigned. He’s the one in the Senate who actually wrote a letter to Obummer last November asking him to prove his eligibility...which is a first that has ever happened. Needless to say, Deal has had no response (in writing anyway...but maybe he has had his arm twisted.) Supposedly his resignation is because he’s running for Gov....and maybe he’ll win the seat, but it seems dumb to me to “resign” to run for a position and risk losing, when you are already a Senator. I will be watching to see if Broun ends up resigning in the near future...anyone who mentions eligibility seems to “resign” post haste.
