Work crews in gutted building, over months. Big difference in an occupied, different structure, covert. I guess the owner was in on it too.

The WTT were unique in their structure. And, by the way, none had been controlled demolition ever. Another varible, that the ghost company had to deal with.

All falling objects approach free fall. Don't know what so special about that.

I doubt the WTT where designed to withstand a 707 impact. Please give me a link to the original source engineering specs.

Your stated doubt could be evidence of more of your movie terrain going. And...how in the world did you make a comment about engineering and physics with no knowledge of the building's design?

"We looked at every possible thing we could think of that could happen to the buildings, even to the extent of an airplane hitting the side," said John Skilling, head structural engineer. "However, back in those days people didn't think about terrorists very much."

Skilling, based in Seattle, is among the world's top structural engineers. He is responsible for much of Seattle's downtown skyline and for several of the world's tallest structures, including the Trade Center.

Concerned because of a case where an airplane hit the Empire State Building, Skilling's people did an analysis that showed the towers would withstand the impact of a Boeing 707.

"Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed," he said. "The building structure would still be there."

Use the link and read the article, which was printed in 1993 after the WTC bombing. Interesting comments.

So, how, exactly, did these three buildings become "falling objects" with in tact steel structures below them? Why didn't the intact steel structures below them impede, at all, their falling?

We know that in controlled building demolitions this condition is engineered and made to occur, in the collapse, via explosives, which remove the resistance of each successive floor. How did it happen in the three WTC collpases?
