How about the fact that in ALL of history...women have only recently been given command of a ship?
So...I guess the experience it is based on is called...history. Or, all of time if you prefer. I know, I know, you’ve seen every Xena episode. But we’re dealing in reality here.
Not really sure you can say that, but regardless are you suggesting that in all recorded history no incompetent man has been placed in command of a Navy warship?

And I'm dealing from 30 years of naval experience here. And in my time I've met a lot piss-poor pitiful officers from both sexes. And a lot more outstanding officers, again from both sexes. And over the years I've heard tell of male commanding officers who whould make this one seem like John Paul Jones. The fact is that like any bureaucracy, a lot of men have risen way past the point they should have because of influence of some sort. It happens. But to tar all women because of Graff or all men because of a few bad apples is idiotic in the extreme.
