Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano are shamelessly promoting a wartime traitor, Adam Kokesh of the communist front group Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), as a Republican candidate for Congress.
For the second time in recent months, Judge Napolitano has had Kokesh on his Fox News show, Freedom Watch, for a softball interview about Kokesh's Republican primary bid to represent New Mexico's 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives.
There is no mention by Napolitano about Kokesh's involvement with terrorist supporting groups like IVAW and Code Pink, nor did Napolitano mention Kokesh's repeated disciplinary actions in the Marines that resulted in him being demoted from sergeant to corporal and from an honorable discharge to a general discharge.
Napolitano did not bring up Kokesh personally urging U.S. troops on a base in Germany to desert the military and lay down their arms.
In another era, Kokesh would have faced a firing squad or the hangman's noose for his actions in Germany. But we live in a more progressive era where traitors are heroes and heroes are the ones persecuted.
America's veterans and military families have come to expect such promotions of treasonous people by others in the media. Coming from Fox News, this is a deep betrayal.
Fox and Napolitano are either guilty of gross journalistic malpractice by not researching Kokesh's history, or they are willfully witholding that information from their viewers.
Given Fox's disgraceful history of promoting Code Pink, the latter is quite possible.
Kokesh on Napolitano's Freedom Watch March 1, 2010. Third screen down.
May, 2007, Adam Kokesh urges U.S. troops at a base in Anspach, Germany to quit the military: "If any of you should decide to leave the Army while in Germany and throw down your arms, the people of Ansbach will support you and do our best to provide you with aid, comfort, and sanctuary."
Kokesh has been endorsed by Ron Paul, of course.
His group, Iraq Veterans Against the War, worked with the enemy in Iraq. Kokesh works with terrorist allies including ANSWER and Code Pink. Open your eyes.
Yeah, he’s just like John Kerry except that he strongly backs the Constitution, wants the government to follow the Constitution, wants to reign in out of control spending and wants the government to stop using the military as its play-thing and randomly engaging in various military adventures just because.
The Code Pink crowd was used by him just as much as they used him, but if we get another stalwart Constitutional observer in office, someone to put a check on both the corporate Republican and corporate Democrat’s power, I won’t complain.
Sadly though, most people dismiss Kokesh before looking into his other beliefs, including a strong support for the 2nd Amendment and opposition to authoritarian legislation like the misnamed “Patriot Act.”
Oh, and what kind of Vet mocks ‘Gold Star Mothers’ like Adam Kokesh did September 15, 2007, riling up a group of Code Pinkos and ANSWER people to all start verbally attacking the Gold Star Mom group there as a counter protest.
Yep- your little punk hero has no problem mocking the mothers of fallen soldiers. Luckily some of our pals from the Gathering of Eagles (real Vets) were there standing between the ANSWER and Code Pinko people that Kokesh was riling up.
In other words, he is just a tool.
Once again, this sort of rhetoric does nothing to further discussion, just throwing out a bunch of strawmen out there doesn’t make for facts.
You’re entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts and so far I’m seeing a lot of unsupported claims and exaggerations.
Kokesh opposes the Iraq war. There are plenty of reasons to agree with him. It was a piss-poorly planned war, executed against the advice of top military officials(Shinseki) and begun under the most shady of circumstances.
You can argue it both ways and have a reasonable debate but stop trying to paint anyone who thinks it wasn’t a great idea to drop off hundreds of thousands of troops in the middle of the desert without a clear plan or strategy, spending nearly a trillion or more in the process is some kind of loon or weirdo.
Report on Kokesh and his punk friends mocking Gold Star Mothers.

So then you are fine with Kokesh and his ANSWER pals yelling at Gold Star Mothers phrases like “your son got what he deserved”? He wasn’t just there as a spectator, he was one of the leaders.
“Kokesh shill.” And this means? Because I regard “free speech” as more than a quote tag-line? Because I think for myself and am not property, bought and paid for, of the Republican neo-conservative right?
Once again, we went out, started a war, and then abandoned a crapload of veterans and let them slip through the cracks.
And now, well after Vietnam, we went out and did it again. We’re abandoning vets the same way, and anyone who tries to draw attention to the plight of veterans, is shot down with cries of “traitor” or “Kokesh shill.”
That is fact. Not opinion.
I don't paint everyone opposed to OIF as a traitor. But I do call out Kokesh for what he is: a traitor.
You mean nobody here has ever mocked the parents of a soldier that died in Iraq who actively disagreed with the war?
Please don’t go there.
People need to accept that there are people who both disagree and agree with the premise of the war and move on to figuring out how to care for all these returning veterans who are currently not getting the care or treatment they deserve.
That is what is ultimately important here. I know a lot of Iraqi veterans who think that in general, the reasoning for the war was BS, are they traitor’s too? Are they wrong?
I was on the ground for 14 months, I was honorably discharged, are you going to attack me now too?
Is that what this place has become, not even a far-right but a Republican-right version of Democratic Underground where we must all act like robots in thought and opinion lest we best ostracized for having a difference in view?
Adam Kokesh .... http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=716
Thanks for link showing what a weasel this guy is
Check out this link about Kokesh—>> http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=716
LOL........really? Are you going to pull the “Scott Brown” card, claiming that he was for the raping of women because some nut shouted it out in a crowd? Keith Olbermann is that you?
The problem I see is that any veteran who doesn’t accept the status quo, who tries to think for themselves, is typically branded a “traitor” or something worse.
If you don't have a problem with Kokesh mocking the Gold Star Mothers, I call BS on your entire storyline and image you are trying to portray. No soldier hears stories like that and doesn't want to punch his fist through a wall- I know after being reminded about that incident I am ready to. How do we know you aren't as phony as half the stolen honor soldiers(sic) that IVAW parades out?
If you see a group of your fallen brother's mothers being mocked, and you don't get outraged, and worse, you stand with those mocking them thinking they will do more for you, then there is no way you are legit- period. Anyone can claim to be anything on the internet.
You argue like a liberal.
He was leading them. Want a video?
The Judge will be speaking at the annual gathering of Free State Project ‘Paulbots’ in New Hampshire later this month...
It wasn’t my doing, but we won’t be hearing from AZScreamingEagle anymore. He sleeps with the trolls now.
Fox promoting Code Pink...and the Judge hugging someone who’s a traitor.
Sorry. Ain’t buyin’ it. Sell it elsewhere.
I’ve been watching FNC for years, and it’s on in my place nearly 24/7. Telling you this so that you don’t try to say “well just watch and you’ll see...”.
