I don’t question his eligibility. I question his humanity. Obama has let you guys run around in circles for a year and a half now just to boost his administration’s power and prestige. While that is understandable as a “political” thing, it is a horrible thing to do to you guys from a human and “moral” standpoint.

I can see by your research that you have spent a lot of time working on this, and if Obama had come right out, when this controversy first got started, he could have answered the questions. You will never get back these lost hours. I just hope you have had some sort of blessing out of it, either a deeper appreciation of the law, or skills at research. Something.

Birthers of a Nation & The Paranoid Style of American Liberalism [Jonah Goldberg]

I think Jamie Kirchik has the politics pretty much exactly right. Eugene Robinson, Joe Conason and E.J. Dionne, in addition to all the politicians and bloggers Jamie mentions, have been pumping the birther story in order to tar Republicans as extremists at precisely the moment their own agenda is being rejected by the American people for it’s own extremism. Even the folks at Mother Jones think this is a plausible explanation of the administration’s behavior:

If the White House thinks the birther movement is hurting the Republican party, they might refrain from doing anything that could cause the GOP to totally marginalize the group—like releasing the original certificate.

IF your answer is NO to any, the you beleive Obama's COLB Chain of Custody
was compromised, and the COLB cannot be TRUSTED.
IF you still trust the COLB, then YOU have FAITH IN A LIE BY LIARS.

IF your answer is YES to any, and you TRUST the COLB,
you've outed yourself as a punch-drinking Obama true believer.

What you are doing here is not a sincere expression that you hope he reaps some benefit as a result of the “lost hours.”

The only message you intend to convey is your claim that the time was wasted.

Maybe, if you keep trying (while using your own hours so productively), you can convince others to look away from Obama’s eligibility problem.
