Slick, always trying to connect the Mormons and the Catholics rather than Mormons alone, that is smooth on your part.
SO what's your point? That Catholics are supposed to feel OK because the "hate Mormons" gang doesn't hate them quite as much? You are free to decide which gang you are part of or no gang at all. But my point is that the Mormon hating gang either (a)doesn't feel a whole lot different about Catholics or (b)is brave enough to beat up on an American group which constitutes about 2% of our population, but suddenly loses the nerve when they find common ground with one which makes up about 30% of our population. Case in point: the gay mafia in California after they were defeated at the polls.
FWIW, I've seen the same bigoted tracts passed out against Catholics here as I did against Mormons when I lived in Idaho years ago. Same outfit in Grand Rapids, Michigan, similar talking points aimed at both churches. They mock the Catholic concept of a representative of God (the Pope) just as they mock the Mormon concept of a Prophet, while appointing themselves to a similar role. Quite hypocritical, to say the least.
