I have nothing to say to you. Neither you nor Parsifal has any right to try to drive away posters that believe Bam is ineligible since the OWNER of this site believes the same. THAT was my point.
And if you have nothing to say to me... that's fine too. But, I may have something to say about what you posted... and that's what people do on a forum... doncha know... i.e., post about what someone else said... :-)
And you'll also notice that what I've said is all true in that the State of Hawaii has officially affirmed that Obama was born there and they've stated he's a natural born citizen. This is not some weblog run out of someone's basement -- that's the State of Hawaii, who keeps the original birth records, doncha know...
And furthermore, I've also stated what is true in that it's going to take a Supreme Court decision to decide the natural born status of a candidate, as it's been argued on both sides of this issue and it's not decided. If it was decided and it was final, Obama would have been prevented from running for office. And you know the answer to that one.
For that one, I would agree that we need a Supreme Court decision to settle it too... and I would like to see it, but I don't count on it any time soon... it will probably be after Obama leaves office, if they ever do it at all (which they may not).
You’re right about the Hawaii thing. but I have read other threads where other freepers have pointed out the same thing to them, over and over, and it just don’t register.
That’s the problem, as I see it. They argue from an emotional starting point, and no matter how logical the response is, we’re caught in an apples and oranges situation. I’ve had them ask me to “disprove their suspicions.”
That’s why I pretty much stayed off birther threads before the last week or so, unless Orly Taitz was the subject. Its like trying to talk to a brick wall. And on the legal aspects of NBC, its even worse because “theories” are “theories” and no one can say for sure what SCOTUS will do. But there are some pretty good indications. But again. discussion with them is impossible, because they can’t absorb any reality that doesn’t jive with their pre-conceived notions.
I blame Obama!
