Don’t doubt groups do this, but, really, how effective could it be? On small blogs, it’s a waste of effort because the readership is so small. On big websites, the infiltrators will always be outgunned.

How effective? Kos manage to keep a tea party from meeting at a Lutheran church.

I think it is a calculated pushback against momentum. Suppose our momentum could be quantified at a number..50...suppose they just aim to shave a couple of percentage points off that?

Unfortunately - often quite effective.

I've been amazed and disheartened more than once to see what is a definite troll post only to see many FR'ers swallow it and jump on the bandwagon.

That tactic worked it's 'magic' in 2008 - "teach the pubbie a lesson' let/elect obyummer and the dems"

How's THAT working out for us...

Check out the obama elibility threads. They’re as thick as flies on dung. Sometimes they just post back and forth to each other. They’re basically on “takeover” mode.
