IF the roads there are any indication of the state government, you are so correct. I almost tore the suspension right out from under my Gold Wing motorcycle trying to make it up to the UP last summer. I don’t recall ever seeing roads so bad. They’re like roads you’d see in some 3rd world country. And I thought Louisiana roads were bad...LOL. They don’t hold a candle to those in Michigan!!!!

Actually, they aren’t that bad; I’ve driven through Louisiana on my way to Fort Polk. After all it was the Kingfish himself Huey Long who built first class bridges and highways throughout his state.
