I think the Darwin award requires that candidates intentionally perform the act which causes their death. I highly doubt this man intended to urinate on a live power line.

In other news, it has also been discovered that urinating on a low voltage wire can cure erectile disfunction!

I was hunting one time when, at the end of the day, we pulled over to relieve ourselves.
One of our party was leaning against the truck with his bare skin touching the cab whizzing on a metal post. His son, who was driving, got out of the truck and accidentally bumped his door against an electric fence.
I can still hear Duane's blood-curdling scream.

The utility company should be sued by the man’s family if their were no signs warning people “Not to pee on Live Wire”.

" It is unknown why there was a live wire on the ground, which could have been knocked down by the collision. A full investigation is underway."Sheesh! Someone drives into a power pole, it gets knocked down, and people wonder why a live wire is on the ground? Do people take "dumb pills" every morning?
