WASHINGTON (Associated Press) -- Declaring the nation is "waiting for us to act" after a year of debate, President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to enact his signature health care legislation swiftly. He said it now contains the best ideas from both political parties.
"This is where we've ended up. It's an approach that has been debated and changed and I believe improved over the last year," Obama said in excerpts released in advance of an early afternoon appearance at the White House.

"He is absolutely correct. The American people want this bill killed and start over. "
I don't even want them to start over, we'll just end up with the same thing. If the same people start over, with the same goal, we'll get the same outcome.
The very idea of government healthcare (socialized medicine) should be scrapped, permanently.
We may need a few regulatory things like tort reform, interstate competition, etc...but we DON'T need the government to run anything remotely connected to healthcare.
Just look at everything else they run, and totally screw up and bust budget on, as a prime example of why they should totally get out of anything that the private sector should run, and could run much better (if you keep the government out of it).
If anything should be started over, it would be the 2008 elections.

Wasn't there are statewide referendum on HusseinCare somewhere just last January where it was voted down 53% to 46%? Was it Wyoming? Texas? Nebraska? Georgia? I can't recall?
God knows it wasn't Massachusetts!

Absolutely true. Insurance companies need to get on board with the people of this country. Are the insurance companies trying to break the backs of the American people? If so, why? Americans work for these companies and they should also be standing for the reform of insurance costs. The question needs to be asked....”How much do insurance companies make on the insurance and how much do they spend taking care of the people they insure?” Insurance is not like a grocery store or auto dealer. Insurance is something that we all need and the companies need to be controlled somehow. That’s what needs to be discussed.

This loser wants this health bill as his legacy to be in the history books.
He's failed at everything else - so he's desperate to have SOMETHING to show as an accomplishment during his presidency.

Hussein's on record as saying that CanadaCare is his ultimate dream for this country.and yet just a month or so ago a Canadian Provincial Premier....a TOP Canadian Government official....chose to have his heart surgery here,a country with such an obscenely deficient and oppressive health care system (according to Hussein,at least).
Something doesn't compute here, boys and girls.
