I just asked my wife this morning if she noticed anything about Sarah's appearance last night. Her comment: "I noticed she wore jeans and she looked great. But she always looks great, and no one can criticize her for that."

She’s 44, lives in a small town in Alaska, has 5 kids, She has no time for plastic surgery! Try living a healthy outdoor life and you could look like that too.
:-) Yes, she looks great in the jeans.
How could she not? She had on a gorgeous long jacket to cover everything (not that she has anything needed to be covered up).
Dark wash, straight cut (no flare).

I'm 65, I wear faded, well worn jeans with a well tailored jacket all the time. Dark wash may be proper in NYC, but out here in the rest of the country we look at dark wash as just new jeans.

Wifey just yelled in to say what she said was far more important than what she wore, and what she said won over more people who might have watched that didn't know her. In wifespeak I think that means what she wore was fine.
Then, I suppose Ronald Reagan was too old.
