If that is directed at me, it is pretty inane as my posts do not, in any way, support Romney.

I admire your fire but your view is naive. Someone is going to run this nation. I’ve been a part of a movement that proved your way is the best way to elect socialists.
I want no further part of it. I will continue to support true conservative Republicans, in local, state and federal race primaries. I when the choice is between the last two standing, I vote for the most conservative candidate in the race. You think that is wrong headed, fine. Don’t follow my lead.

Yes, but it is entirely inadequate to make your point. He only won enough primaries because the elite that runs the party anointed him as a candidate, and then the leftist press, realizing that he was the worst candidate, worked to get him selected.

I didn’t vote for John McCain, we’ve covered that. I am not going to apologize for my non-vote, it was my right but your reasoning suggests that the “elite” and the press equal millions and millions of people. They ALL voted for McCain? Come on, the voters must share some of the blame.

The GOP voters are persuaded by the argument that their only choice is between demonrats and RINOs. The exact same argument that some are advancing here.

In what sense do I suggest that they are “equal?” There is no theoretical upper limit on the number of people who can be misled by sophistry.
