I just returned from the polls. The rat side had 4 booths and was empty(I guess they are not awake yet) while the GOP side had 8 booths and was full. Republican voters are obviously motivated this year.

The early results look good for Republicans. But we have to get the message out to vote STRAIGHT TICKET in November to get the local candidates in office - the judges, commissioners, etc. Dems almost always vote straight ticket and can beat us in the urban areas even with lesser turnout if the Republicans don't vote down ballot. We need these candidates in office (1) to have conservative policy at the local level and (2) to create a large pool of conservative candidates with experience ready to provide a credible primary threat to any Congressional or legislative candidates that feel compelled to "compromise".
