We have tons of feral cats around where I live. They cause a lot of problems.
Lots of bobcats and an occasional Florida Panther where I live.
Three nights ago a panther walked through my yard as my son was outide and it scared him more than a little.’
I told him if he’d offed the cat he’d be PETAs evil posterboy for the year.
Bobcats do a great job keeping the wabbit population in check.
That’s why you round them up and send them off for research. You don’t shoot them.
We had some people feeding feral cats in a building on campus. It would shock you how fast they reproduce when someone else is footing the bill for their care. We finally started sending them to the Vet school for fixing.
I’m just saying.
You need to take a “liberal” approach to the cats. Explain to them you mean them no harm and wish to peacefully coexist. Then apologize for any and all things that have happened to them in the past, making sure to accept the blame on behalf of all Americans.
Soon they will come to realize you mean them no ill and will become cuddly little lap kitties.
