This statement, repeated far too often, doesn't make me happy. :(

My view is that as an American citizen, they want to charge me with a crime, they damned well better prove it in court and they are obliged to consider me innocent until a jury says different. Whether I did it or not is not the question. Can they prove it and not violate any Constitutional safeguards?
