Maryland is also west of the Mason-Dixon line (the border between Delaware and Maryland was part of the line that Mason and Dixon surveyed).

Mary I of England (daughter of Henry VIII) and Mary II of England (daughter of James II) both married their first cousins. Neither marriage produced any children, which may have been just as well.
