>>>Your apology TO ALL OF FR awaited...

Browsing that excessively capitalized tirade, my comment on psychiatric care seems more on point then I first thought.

>>>Maybe we should let them cook for you for a while, since you trust them and all...

Cook what? They were translators, not cooks. And the Army says there was no food plot.

>>> but the FACT that 5 Muslims in the same “translator” program got themselves arrested around the same time, and that 4 have been discharged and the 5th has been transferred.... well considering the extreme political correctness of today’s DoD and the Obamanation, I’d say there’s more than a little smoke there..

I’d be very surprised if these are the only members of the military separated in the time frame, be it for DADT, porn, drugs, or what have you. Whatever is on the computer, if there was evidence of Jihad or some serious lesser offense, do you think they’d be released from service without being arrested ? Two months of investigation at least, and no arrest, no indictments, zip in criminal terms. That doesn’t add up in terms of this thing being related to either national security or significant criminal activity.

I’d be very interested in seeing some actual proof before I call American soldiers traitors. But that’s just me. I never liked the smell of tar and feathers are getting expensive. The only things I am certain of is 1) the Army said there was NO plot to poison an entire army base, as the buffoons at CBN reported so proudly as an EXCLUSIVE. And 2) treason is too serious a charge to bandy around as carelessly as is the habit from some on FR.

>>>I’m not willing to believe that these guys deserve any presumption of innocence..

Pesky Constitution. Who needs it.

>>>How is the Christian Broadcasting Network News reports any less reliable than NBC, ABC, CNN, CBS etc?

Case in point, reporting poison food plots where there appear to be none.

>>>Having Muslim soldiers in the military while we are battling Islamic Terror is akin to having Waffen Schutzstaffel in Patton’s 3rd Army during WW II.

Or having Patton take orders from an Eisenhower? Or sending Nisei translators to Okinawa?

If and when I see some facts that these soldiers were a danger to their comrades and the United States I’m fine with any punishment they receive. But until then as I said before, I don’t like lynch mobs. If that bothers some, I can live with it.

“do you think they’d be released from service without being arrested”

given what we’ve learned of the insane coddling of the Ft. Hood shooter over years, yes, we’re probably very lucky simply to get them out of the service

if you consider the proportion that 5 represents among Muslims in that translator program, I doubt that anything else happening in the same time frame remotely compared, whether drugs, porn, or whatever

as far as the “pesky” constitution goes, “the constitution is not a suicide pact” as a SC justice once said.... *we* as a society need to be a lot more vigilant about rooting out the jihadists, and the military should not coddle them at all (as was done for years with the Ft. Hood shooter)
