When I was a six year old I used to imagine I could convert my cap guns to shoot real bullets.
Actually a few of them can be converted after a fashion but it strikes me that it would be just as easy to make one from scratch.

A.T.F. - After They Fail the test to be a Mall Cop.
Pathetic ... they say that these AirSoft toys could be converted to REAL weapons ... are they serious! Or are they just STUPID!
When they said that the toys being shipped did not have the red tip on them ... I can virtually say with almost 100% certainty that THEY, the ATF, removed the red tips in order to set up a “bust”.
What fools ... the problem is they are dangerous fools and anti-American to boot.

Good grief, I have an airsoft pistol to keep the stray cats away. It scares the heeby jeebys out of them, but doesn’t hurt them. It uses a big cheap spring to propel the plastic BB. There is no way in he77 it could be converted to a real gun. To say an airsoft can be converted is about as retarded as you can get.

I’m still waiting for the ATF to wade into the ‘hoods and disarm the Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings, MS-13, etc.
Yeah, I’m not going to hold my breath.

The ATF claimed the toy guns were seized because they could be converted to actual machine guns! If they are going to lie like that to cover such a bungled operation, they really need to practice coming up with a better cover story. That lie is pathetic... but I guess it is so very hard for the Feds to ever admit making a mistake.

The ATF can’t possibly think this can really be converted to a “real” gun, can they?
And these “special” agents make how much per year?

I will sleep better at night when these dangerous toy guns are off the street and not in the hands of the ATF. I mean, they might put their eye out!

I have ZERO respect for any civil service person at local, state or federal level. On several occasions, I have worked with federal CS personnel/bureaucrats. IMHO, these are people who have less work ethic and character than their civilian counterparts. Welfare with a desk.

Silly person, Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings, and MS-13 are going to be part of Zero’s “civilian” security force, dontchaknow!. Funded as well as DoD!

Here is a write up by the store owner who had these "weapons" seized. It's a bit long winded, but explains it pretty good detail. I hope someone does a FOIA request and gets the real story on what Customs and ATF did with these.
