Jews and Evangelicals enjoy a wonderful alliance, one rooted in God, and His plans. What I have found over the years is that for many Jews, this is the equation they cemented have in their minds:

REPUBLICANS = EVANGELICALS + ANTI-SEMITES

Contrary to the writings of some some reporters and some Jews, Evangelical Christians do not solely support Israel because they are trying to hasten the Apocalypse, or hasten Christ's return. They believe that the prophesies in Isaiah, Daniel, and the Book of Revelation will happen, but there isn't anything they can do about it.

Still, the bond is strong between Jews and Christians in Israel (especially when weighed against the evil of Islam).

Christians who love God love the Jewish people people because God loves them. They are the "apple of His eye (Psalm 17)." To love the Jewish people and Israel is a direct manifestation of God's grace.

In political terms, what has happened is that many secular Jews (and nonsecular ones) have been taught to believe that Republicans are more than their "political" enemies, but theological, historical, and spiritual ones as well.

The conflict of the unbelieving Jews with that of Christ as Messiah is addressed in Romans 11.

It is historically correct and accurate that people, who either were Christians or said they were, brutalized the Jewish people. This is a huge factor to many Jews, who equate Christianity as a historic enemy. It is also true that many Jews equally hate (or display hatred of) Christianity.

This kind of manifestation of hatred is very small, however, and should not be compared to tragedies like the persecution of Jews throughout history, or the holocaust itself. Such comparisons are themselves vile, and trivialize the suffering of the Jewish people.

A very interesting, and tragic, topic is why so many Jews throughout history (and even today) were and are prominent Communists.

Satan is wrong, but he won't give up trying. To view the hatred of the Jews in the world (as an outside observer) strikes one with incredible irrationality. You would have to ask "Why so much hatred from a people who have given the world so many gifts in science, medicine, and the arts?" All they seem to be asking for is a measly little strip on land in the Middle East?

That is because Satan hates them with a passion we cannot even imagine. Those whose minds are weak and have no interest in God (the real one) are easily consumed with evil hatred motivated by evil towards destroying the Jews.

The endless promotion of historical grievences helps keep liberals from straying. We see it employed against other groups which vote liberal too. The constant reiteration of what someone did 100 years ago or 500 years ago is used to radicalize people today against those who don’t have the slightest intention of harming anyone.

1. JEws are leftist becasue of a gnostic reinterpretation of of Judiasm. (Essentually an atheistic immanentizing of the eschaton)
2. Grievence Politics. Grievance politics unites disparate minorities in unthinking opposition to the majority, even against rational self interest. The politics of grievance is an unthinking ersatz ethnic loyalty, wherein one defines oneself in opposition, rather than in being. It leads Jews to support political correctness, immigration of Muslims, and Third Worldism, even though these are all against their rational self interest as an Americans or as a Jews. It leads black leaders to support immigration, liberal social politics, and objectively failing education and social models.

Alienation and grievance politics leads immigrants to support many of the policies they fled from. (This isn't just a minority issue. Think how many liberal economic emigres overwhelm formerly conservative areas. They flee taxes but demand the social welfare state, spreading the disease.) The children of immigrant minorities are inherently alienated. (I know, I am one, despite being brought up among the NY elite.) They benefit from affirmative action and see government as their protector against the majority. Any failure of the state to create a perfect life for them is not the failure of the nanny state but the fault of conservatives and the majority. It takes generations to assimilate new immigrants. The Irish, Germans, Swedes, Italians, Poles and other ethnic whites voted for big government and against middle America for generations. When the left saw their hold on white ethnic ending in the 1960's, they opened the floodgates.

PS. Marx was Lutheran for his childhood and became an antisemite avant la lettre. Check out his "On the Jewish Question." All Marxists are definitional haters of Judaism and Jewishness, just confused ones.
