Insurance companies pay, the recipients pay, and the family of the murdered patients pay. It is a multi-billion dollar industry.

The last time I had my license renewed, I asked that my name be taken off organ donation. The woman at the counter must have asked me three times if I was sure I wanted to do that. I assured her I was, and I asked my young daughter to do the same. The thought of these animals just waiting for you or your child to "almost" die, is disturbing at best.

About ten years ago, I worked on a contract project with a state agency, and had the opportunity to participate in a conference call with some ODF people. The word “ghouls” always reminds me of them. Always will.
