Flights are routinely canceled because of weather delays or mechanical problems, but passengers trying to fly from Rochester, N.Y., to Atlanta Thursday found their trip canceled for another reason: the flight attendants reportedly got into a fistfight.
Passengers told local news channel YNN Rochester that the flight, a Delta Connection flight from Rochester, N.Y., to Atlanta, was canceled after the two female flight attendants started fighting.
"Apparently they got into a fistfight on the plane," passenger Steve Mazur told local news YNN. "The pilot decided to kick everyone off the plane."
"They told us we had to get off the plane because stewardesses were fighting," passenger Corey Minton, also told YNN Rochester.
The regional flight was operated by Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines. A company spokesman acknowledged that the flight was canceled and that two flight attendants had a disagreement, but disputed the fact that the there was a physical altercation.

Of course. Makes perfect sense that the pilot would order everyone to leave over a verbal argument.

I’m never going to get used to this “Hope and Change” ObamaNation. I liked America better.
Actually, a good chickfight would make great in-flight entertainment.
Sistahs?
Probably fighting over “dibs” on the rich guy in First Class. Ever try to get a bag a peanuts when there’s an actor on-board?
that’s what I thought also.
They coulda sold popcorn...
Guess we won’t see passengers sassing any Delta flight attendants anytime soon.
Had it been a real pilot sitting in the cockpit...a former Air Force officer...he would have stepped out and jacked up both women and told them to ‘shut up’. What the cheap airlines have gone to...are 25-year old guys who barely have a flight license and no real management experience...they just fly and that’s it.
I am willing to bet on that one
If you are a pilot and look cross-eyed at a flight attendant, they file a grievance and you get fired. I know a guy that got fired at American over a bottle of water.
Whether or not there was “physical altercation” is inconsequential...
My two cats had a huge fight a couple of months ago. They both like to go on a walk with me at night, and for some reason one didn’t want the other to come.
The got into a tussle on the lawn that I’ve never seen the like. Cats are not like dogs, they certainly didn’t listen to me, and I couldn’t stick my hand in that mess. Finally one chased the other out of the yard and he didn’t come home until the next day.
He had a huge wound on his head, very bad, got infected, ran fevers, the whole nine yards. We treated it with antibiotics, but it still took over a month to close.
Now THAT was a catfight.
That was my first thought.
Is this what’s meant by “Swinging Stewardess’’?
