Did you notice that his total approval (strongly and somewhat) equal the same amount as the strongly disapprove?

Yes. This is the first time that they've matched. After his lame performance at the healthcare summit, I can't wait for his support to be below strongly dissapprove!

I've heard that this is a statistical “tipping point”. I plan on calling my (Democrat) senators and congressman on Monday to congratulate them on the abysmal mess they and Obama have made. Their offices don't seem to be taking calls today.

Yes, the Abyss index today is 0. Fitting for the 0'.

It was only 0 or worse once before, in December when he was -21bama it was -2.

Has anyone noticed that Gallup forgoes there result updates on days it appears Bama does bad on Rasmussen. Last 2 days Gallup did not post their numbers. Thus, if Bama has really bad night they don’t post. Gallup that is. Maybe a bit paranoid, but I have been following this for about 2 months with them now. Same thing all time. Bad nights no post.

He will have a lower approval than GWB did by the time this New Year is celebrated.

He is an Leftist (Socialist/Communist) ideologue who is incapable of compromise to his fanatic beliefs.

Here’s another way to observe 0bama’s fanaticism - question “would Lenin have been able to compromise with Reagan (a Capitalist)”?

No, and so 0bama’s idealogical fanaticism is rapidly becoming obvious to America and it will become his unique brand recognition before he is finished.

One hates to rain on today’s joyous FReeper parade, but:

I think probably the reason we’ve seen these super-low Index values yesterday and this morning is that Thursday night’s polling must have been very far out of range.

Therefore, given the way a 3-day moving average operates, tomorrow morning’s report probably will still have the Big Ø’s Index number about the same as today.

On the other hand, it won’t surprise me a bit if Monday morning’s report shows a marked upward jump — bringing the Index closer to a longrun trend value ca. -15.

If such a jump does occur, it won’t indicate that Ø’s “true” favorability rating has improved. Rather, it will just be another demonstration that 3-day averages based on relatively small samples can sometimes give very misleading pictures.
