” Among those not affiliated with either major party, 38% approve and 61% disapprove. “

Doom.

I am looking forward to the 30’s. That is the point were the media really went on a frenzy with Bush. I doubt the Obama worshipping media will come close to that insanity, but it should make them even more nervous that the population is catching on.

It's amazing that Obama (the intelligent one) has sunk so low so fast, when it took 5 years of leftist non-stop attacks and lies against Bush (including the ludicrous lie that he was stupid) to bring him below 50%.

Leftists must be going insane about now, don't you think, Alan?

Go, Gallup is only useful for the Hussein cultists in the media to pretend he is doing better.

IIRC, Gallup polls "American adults"...whereas RASMUSSEN polls "likely voters." The "aa" numbers will always show a lesser informed opinion (so a higher number) than the "lv" number.

Hussen still has the voter fraud machine working behind the scenes to help him in November!

So let's not let our guard down!

I never thought GWB was stupid. I think he is very comparable to Mike Huckabee in intelligence.

Oh. I guess why you said repeatedly that he was stupid yesterday (memory like Harry Reid?).

What he has in common with Huckabee is that they are both pro-life. That's stupid to leftists, isn't it?

At any rate, it's still amazing with the leftist propaganda that people are realizing what an utter phony Obama is, and how dangerous he is for this country. (Unlike his honorable predecessor).

Thanks for the link, Servant. I'm glad someone is here to verify that newbie, AlanD is lying through his teeth.

(I really don't think that Harry Reid has a bad memory. ;*)

Helpful hint for living: When you tell the truth, you don't have to try to remember what you said yesterday.

One hates to rain on today’s joyous FReeper parade, but:

I think probably the reason we’ve seen these super-low Index values yesterday and this morning is that Thursday night’s polling must have been very far out of range.

Therefore, given the way a 3-day moving average operates, tomorrow morning’s report probably will still have the Big Ø’s Index number about the same as today.

On the other hand, it won’t surprise me a bit if Monday morning’s report shows a marked upward jump — bringing the Index closer to a longrun trend value ca. -15.

If such a jump does occur, it won’t indicate that Ø’s “true” favorability rating has improved. Rather, it will just be another demonstration that 3-day averages based on relatively small samples can sometimes give very misleading pictures.

And Michele Obama has a law degree from Yale.

Affirmative action in both instances?

It does jump like that a lot...I find watching the longer trends more useful, but a big jump like this still feels good....

Certainly possible. But I’d say the odds are two-to-one against you.
