Your statement belies an ignorance that 1/3 of the New Testament is a direct quote or paraphrase of the Hebrew Scriptures - and Jesus Himself who said in Matt 5:17: "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law and the Prophets."

For your education: "Law and Prophets" is an idiom for what you dismissivly call "the Old Testament" - the front 3/4 of your Bible.
