How do we know that the poor chap didnt first confess his sins and receive absolution? We are all assuming quite a bit here. Even the priest, no?
I sincerely hope you're joking.
Ye shall know them by their fruit.
In this case, the man himself was a fruit, and the fact that he managed to raise a stink about this afterword is evidence of his unrepentant heart--i.e., he did not confess his sins.

As we all know it was a trap to begin with...they know they’ve got a political and people winning hand. Change our dogma and we’re done! Thereagain maybe they have Sharia law now.

I wish just one of these disease-ridden fags would try a stunt like this in a mosque.

“Fr. Buyens simply did not distribute Communion to the entire congregation.”
Does it mean that Father Buyens did not distribute communion, or that he excluded more people than just this one man? It’s not clear which is the case. If the former, then yes, it’s the incorrect response.
These gay people need to pound sand and leave us alone. I go to mass, you better not get between me and communion.

OK, it is my understanding that when the Priest takes communion on the alter, it is a Mass. I have been to Mass where no one received Communion except the Priest in performance of his priestly duties at Daily Mass.

With the Dutch, nothing surprises me anymore. I wonder what the gays will do in the Netherlands when it's taken over completely by the Muslims in the near future?
Somehow I just don't see the gays trying to pull these stunts in a mosque

Once again we’re shown this is not at all about “live and let live”
They want to turn the bible into hate speech.
They want to turn christians into criminals.
They want to shut down the churches.
“Ouwens was arrested during the Mass on Sunday by a police officer in civilian clothes when he attempted to approach the microphone in order to address the congregation. He was subsequently charged with mischief.”
Of course he was.
NO ONE is supposed to approach the microphone during mass except the lectors and priests.
There is absolutely no time during the mass for anyone to just “approach” the mic and start grandstand.
unbelievable.
To: sydney smith
The carnival prince?
Or the pleasant man who attempted to hijack the mass?
It seems the priests knew beforehand they were being targeted by activists.

It’s my understanding that some protestant denominations believe the Real Presence is a temporary conditon after the blessing?
While catholics believe that once the bread is blessed the Real Presence remains.

1 Corinthians 6: 9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Chastity and homosexuality in the
Catechism of the Catholic Church
2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,140 tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered."141 They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
2359 Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
If you're a Catholic, you are bound by Scripture, Tradition and the Magisterium. Here it is plainly explained. If the "Clown" wants to receive Communion [Catholics call it Eucharist], he can leave the Catholic Church and join with a faith that allows openly homosexual behaviors. Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson probably has room for this "Clown" in his church.

He could have confessed to another priest. Sure ... but that is highly unlikely. This all about retaliation. According to the article:
Ouwens was arrested during the Mass on Sunday by a police officer in civilian clothes when he attempted to approach the microphone in order to address the congregation. He was subsequently charged with mischief.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass does not require that anyone but the priest receive the Holy Eucharist. This also shows that reception of Holy Communion is not a right but a sacrament of the Holy Catholic Church to be given to those who are in a State of Grace.

Salisbury Cathedral (UK, Anglican) has a side altar with the eucharist reserved in a tabernacle. They clearly believe that something other than mere bread is present. I've been there, but at the time I was only nominally Christian, and Baptist at that, so the two things I remember most are the BENT stone pillars (and the steel reinforcings) and the Magna Carta. I had always thought that the olden-days calligraphy was freehand. No it wasn't; you can clearly see the guidelines.
I don't remember even seeing a tabernacle, and wouldn't have known what anyone meant by the Real Presence, if I had.

Its my understanding that some protestant denominations believe the Real Presence is a temporary conditon after the blessing? I was raised Southern Baptist and it's purely commemorative to them, i.e., never anything but bread.
