I disagree,not because I like Palin (though I do) but because each of those men had BEEN PREPARED by aides. I think Palin isn’t quite as polished as she could be, but I also think it wouldn’t take her long to be up to par.
I suspect the major issue she worked as in-depth on was the oil pipeline and she could talk just as authoritatively on that.
My guess is that Alaska’s such a working class state that she’s used to constituents who are comfortable with generalities more than specifics and she’s still tuning her style to her new audience. I’m a fan of hers, but if I never hear another booster boast from her about the great state of Alaska or platitude about good Americans I’ll be relieved. That’s right, she’s got learn how not to be the Sean Hannity of political speakers.
