Harken was lamenting higher premium costs without pointing out that the state insurance regulators require so many pet requirements, thus driving the costs up. [I don't know about you Clint, but I, myself, do not require coverage for pregnancy and my wife does not need prostate coverage!] 8)
(R) Dave Camp is giving a good response.

Harkin then said “premiums go down for everybody.” No so, commie Tommie. Premiums go UP, from $0.00 to megabucks, for those who don’t want to have insurance, but who would be forced to get insurance by government mandate.
Obama agreed with Harkin.

Rockefeller: “clip the health industry every way we can”.
They intend to drive the industry out of business.

Jay Rockefeller is bashing “big insurance”. His argument is that they are “...trying to make a profit.” Sinful. And how exactly did the Rockefeller family gain their wealth? I believe it was by having profitable companies.
Gee, Jay said his son didn't have insurance until Dad told him to get it. Think either of them was worried that they couldn't afford to cover there own costs? I think not.
Maybe the Gov’t should stop demonizing “profit.”
