I happened to have an oral surgery consult just yesterday about a dental implant. The brochure to explain it started out by saying the Egyptian pharaohs harvested teeth from dead slaves and poor people (at least I HOPE they were dead). I hope the Dims do not have this brochure...

Soldiers used to pull the teeth of the dead and stick them in their own empty sockets. They stopped when they made the connection that they were getting syphilis this way.
