We are not throwing them a lifeline. The GOP had to attend this or the no-show would have become the media drumbeat for weeks, making BOcare easier to pass.

Very simple, they want the press to love them, d.c. is a wonderful old boys club and this meeting is just an act.

When this is over all of 535 senators and reps will continue to live the high life, we will still pay for it.
