No. I was thinking more of the British American importers...

To our friends and allies in England, we apologize for the disgraceful actions and position this administration has continually taken towards Great Britain since Obama has become president. Believe us when we say that we are ashamed and value your friendship and support

Please come and retake your former colony. We were, apparently, mistaken...

Our support for the British in the Falklands dispute in the 80’s went a long way in continuing to cement our ‘Special Relationship’ with the British. Reagan understood they were our most important International ally. This was probably the biggest reason why the brits were on our side during Iraqi Freedom. Zero is seriously trashing a great long term relationship here. Much of his motivation for his ‘indifference’ is because his father’s (and maybe his own) homeland, Kenya, was a former colony of the British Empire and Obama abhors Jolly Old England because of it.

Obama has big plans for the OAS and he won't side with a nonmember against a member. The Brits are going to have no allies in this fight.

In Heaven, Ronald Reagan is weeping.

Lady Thatcher, we, the American people, apologize for this afront to your personal courage and sacrifice alongside our beloved 40th President.

The Obama Administration “is trying to split the difference as much as it can because it knows that coming round to the British position would again create a lot of ill will in the region”, he said.

Evidently 0bama doesn't want to irritate his good friend Huey Chavez, professional courtesy from one two-bit socialist toward another. Chavez has decided that starting a fight between Argentina and Britain will distract regional eyes from the disaster he's created in Venezuela. All of the better left-wing media will fall in line, and nobody else is being allowed to broadcast at the moment in Venezuela. And certainly the ejection of the hated colonialists from the Falklands is a matter of pride to the descendants of other colonialists who now flatter themselves as the rightful owners of the continent.

Nevertheless, 0bama hasn't the stomach to contradict his own fellow travelers within the ruling elites in South America. And he has left no stone unturned to express his contempt for Great Britain. And anyone who expects the UN to intervene on the side of the British is kidding himself.

There is, as well, a cold calculation on the part of the Argentinians that today's Great Britain hasn't the stomach for the fight. Bullies smell weakness. And if the Brits, God bless 'em, do decide to defend their interests they will do so knowing that 0bama doesn't have their back. How's that hopey changey thing working out for you?

This might not be too pretty but I think this is what will happen. England has a couple of their SSNs of Argentina and one in the Caribbean of Venezuela right NOW.

England quietly says to Argentina and Venezuela, you make a move on the Falklands, you touch one hair on the head of an Englishman and we take out your ports and your government buildings in the Capital with our cruise missiles! Your move, your choice!

Does this moron ever do anything right?

He does everything right - for the countries and people he feels akin to.

And it isn't America.

He grew up with American/Capitalist hating people - across the Pacific. He has no feeling of country - for the U.S.A.

If people can't finally see that in what he's just done with our Space Program - shutting it down - to funnel the money to Muslim countires, then how do we save this coutry?.

7,000 people at the Kennedy Space Center will be laid off in Sept. Another 14,000+ in private sector jobs dependent on the Space center will lose their jobs, plunging the Cocoa Beach area into 15% unemployment. But NASA will retain it's funding....

NASA has been DIRECTED by OBAMA (not Congress) to funnel the money to 'predominantly Muslim countries in Asia, Africa, and (starting with ) Indonesia...to teach young Muslims the technology of the Space Industry and bring the Muslim countries into the field. (so we can end up with many Irans?)

I read that this edict is an illegal bypass of Congress - but is anyone going to stop it?

Dare none say "Treason"?

Will no one at least ask: "Is THIS how you create/save jobs?

He is also cutting funding from the Coast Guard that will result in 1,100 losing their jobs. (Great Homeland Security move!)

So where does his loyalties lie?

The tune "The World Turned Upside Down" keeps popping up in my head.

To come so far. To achieve so much. To help so many. Only to see it being shattered and crumble to the ground.

On a happier note, the skip for the Womens curling team from GBR is quite the hottie!

LOL! Never been a big curling fan, though this year I've taken note of several lovely lady curlers. I think Cheryl (can't remember her last name) from Canada is quite the looker.

It should be noted that The Queen may REMOVE the Prime Minister, disolve parliment and appoint a new Prime Minister. Browne also knows this and as much of a coward and lefty low life as he is, he will act to try to save his worthless hide and thus save England.

http://american_almanac.tripod.com/privy.htm
The idea of a ``constitutional monarchy’’ is a myth. All that exists are ``oaths of allegiance’’ to the monarch. Without the need for parliamentary authority, Queen Elizabeth has Royal Prerogative Powers. The following partial list of those powers is from the authoritative Burke’s Peerage and Baronetage:

the Queen alone may declare war at her pleasure;

as commander-in-chief, the Queen may choose and appoint all commanders and officers by land, sea, and air;

the Queen may convoke, adjourn, remove, and dissolve Parliament;

the Queen may dismiss the prime minister and choose whom she will as the replacement;

the Queen can choose and appoint all judges, councillors, officers of state, magistrates;

the Queen can choose and appoint all archbishops (including the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is primus inter pares in the Anglican Communion), bishops, and high ecclesiastical dignitaries;

as ``the Sovereign is first in honor, dignity and in power—and the seat and fountain of all three,’’ the Queen may bestow all public honors, including creating a peerage for membership in the House of Lords or bestowing an order of chivalry;

the Queen alone may conclude treaties;

the Queen may initiate criminal proceedings, and she alone can bestow a pardon.

Some of these powers are exercised on the advice of cabinet ministers or others, and the principal vehicle through which the Queen receives such advice—apart from weekly or more frequent meetings with the prime minister—is through a body known as the Privy Council.

Oh, you know it. He's Mau Mau, all the way.

I haven't quite figured what the First Sasquatch has against the Brits, but I'm sure it will eventually come out.
