Relatives of patients involved in the report hold pictures of their loved ones
Patients were routinely neglected or left sobbing and humiliated by staff at an NHS trust where at least 400 deaths have been linked to appalling care.
The inquiry report, published yesterday by Robert Francis, QC, included proposals for tough new regulations that could lead to managers at failing NHS trusts being struck off.
Staff shortages at Stafford Hospital meant that patients went unwashed for weeks, were left without food or drink and were even unable to get to the lavatory. Some lay in soiled sheets that relatives had to take home to wash, others developed infections or had falls, occasionally fatal. Many staff did their best but the attitude of some nurses left a lot to be desired.

If Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have their way, we’ll become like Not So Great Britain.
Do as the Dutch do: stay at home! Your chances of surviving are a lot better than at the hospital, where euthanasia is legal.
Except for the rest of us
Exactly...that was the point I was trying to make.Just as the Canadian Provincial Premiere was recently able to bypass the waiting lists that his fellow Canadians endure by coming to the US for heart surgery there can be no doubt that I,for example, will never find a US "public servant" on the same 18 month long waiting list for a hip replacement that I'd be on under HusseinCare.
Evil lives and we elect it to rule over us and make us its bitch. Why do we want to do this to ourselves?!?
“included proposals for tough new regulations”

Liberalism really is a mental disorder...
ObamaCare would make Hitler proud. The Liberal “Final Solution” for the elderly and the unborn.

Wow, that’s some serious sarcasm there, with no tag! That’s exactly the kind of place liberal legislators and Presidents deserve, whether this particular crop passes Health Scare or not.
With our population, it will be much more costly, and much more evil than Britain.
Yeah, add more paperwork and forms to complete by the nursing staff - that will certainly free them to tend to direct patient care! (end sarcasm)
I wonder what the typical nurse to patient ratio is in the UK.
Thanks for the ping.
