I understand the victim’s wife and family are distraught, but this seems quite a reach. How is she culpable unless she conspired with him to perform the action?

Is the wife of the man who killed the 5 Amish schoolgirls responsible for his actions? Should she have “known” what he was capable of and stopped him?

This sounds much more like a predator attorney preying on the family’s grief.

I agree with you.

Only if the perpetrator’s wife stood to PROFIT should she give up the profits.

Most people here do not understand that.
