(WXYZ) - The FBI is confirming raids at the offices of three Michigan auto suppliers who do work for Toyota.
Search warrants were served Tuesday evening at Yazaki North America, DENSO International and Tokai Rika. Yazaki sells electronic components and DENSO makes accelerator pedals.
Denso has released the following statement about the situation "DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM), U.S. subsidiary of DENSO Corporation, was inspected on February 23, 2010 by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Justice in regard to U.S. antitrust laws. DIAM is cooperating with this investigation."

Informative post! :)
The FBI??? What the hell?
They’re trying to make this a criminal matter now? Good grief. This is really over the top.
Why did they do that?
That was a staged malfunction. NBC news had to admit that they had placed explosives in the trucks to make them blow up on camera.
I'm a Luddite... I'm not on Twitter or FaceBook yet. (I will be someday)
At CPAC last week, I sat in the audience next to a friend from California who was Twittering away on her iPhone and was getting the "inside scoop" on what surprise guests were going to appear at CPAC, etc. I was SO impressed! Now I understand why everyone loves Twitter.
Yeah, it’s just a coincidence, not timed or anyting. Say, were the suppliers who were raided wearing fedora hats when the FBI busted in?
LOL! Good one.
“I said it right from the start- Obama did not have to nationalize the auto industry- only one. then use the power of the government to drive the others out of business”
You are right on.
Ford is on deck.
Honda and Ford will be next.
No Mcgruff the crime dog
Scary stuff
Was the FBI raiding Ford when their Super Doodies were catching on fire from the cruise control?
Colluding to exclude the UAW?
This is darn weird.
Not. Buying. A. Word. Of. It.
Since this came from the DOJ I am believing the opposite.
That’s what he doesn’t count on. The refuseniks.
Check it out. Your other response was reasonable.
I’d like more of your reasoning...at face value, this is quite distubing.
This is draconian to the nth degree. This is looking more and more like a government setup to take down Toyota. Honda better beware.
Imagine that, the government is going after its competitors.
Like antitrust deals with something OTHER than criminal(ized) behavior!
