2010 is the year for the Tea Party to break thru the two-party stranglehold on our government. As Scott Brown so rudely reminded us yesterday, once they’re in the club, they protect the club. Neither party listens to , nor cares about, its constituents.

Sorry, but misguided Tea Partiers who go off in their own direction will do nothing but enable the Dem stranglehold on government to continue. The Tea Party should be used to move the debate in a conservative direction, NOT to make a point that results in decades of even deeper socialism just to assuage the egos of those in charge of the movement. The point has been made - people are seeing that they need to vote for candidates that embrace the Constitution. The fact is, that in some states, this will still mean the election of a “moderate” like Scott Brown. He may have voted for the jobs bill, which I am upset about, but it’s better than having a Ted Kennedy clone who would vote for any liberal bill that comes his way.

I’d never support him for President in a primary, but he’s far better than the alternative that voters in Massachusetts had.
