LOL, a friend of mine called me this morning and said he was thinking of firing his employees, paying them cash to do work on the side, then rehiring in April. I said, that’s a lot of work, he said but a helluva savings.

Sorry, but that’s lame... Small businesses (the ones that employ 80%) are not listed on the exchanges and most don’t sell stock. There’s plenty of money to invest, that’s not the problem. The problem is that there is too much crap to put up with (including taxes fees and paperwork) and too little chance of making a profit. After all that, you have to compete with other businesses that hire illegals...
Brown’s senate office still not taking calls. They’re all toooo busy but I could leave a message.
Told him I noticed he was still being a coward and not willing to take calls from his constituents.
They talk tough when they are at home but they get impotent as soon as they get back to the fish tank. (Washington)
