Sounds good, as far as it goes.

Unfortunately, it fails to diagnose the core disease.

I think the point being made is this is not a “Party” in the current definition of the word. It’s a political movement guided by principles that influence political parties to seek support from. So long as the “Tea Party” never seeks to compete with Republicans in elections the movement can acheive its objective in candidate selection and national priorities in the political debate.

Chrios Matthews;

“Well, I think the Democratic Party calls itself the Democratic Party, not the Democrat Party. Do we have to do this every night? Why do people talk like this? Is this just fighting words to get the name on?”

“They call themselves the Democratic Party. Let’s just call people what they call themselves...”

He then went on to talk about Teabaggers.

The Tea Party is a great idea, and a powerful movement. Color me impressed, really......

....BUT .....

The Tea Party is a sacrificial lamb. It WILL be vilified and torn apart to nothingness. Then the members will move on to another movement: Say.. the Minutemen movement. That will be torn down, but not as bad, then it will move onto another movement: Say... The Watchmen movement. It will be torn down a little less... And then....

The Tea Party will disband like ACORN has and will continue to do. Don’t get too attached to the Tea Party. It will be gone soon.

What rises up to take it’s place will be more focused, and braver - brave enough to front-on tackle the real issues (pushing back Islamification, Standing armed to depose Barry Soetoro, Preventing US entry to George Soros... so on)

The Tea Party is the beginning, and should not be made to be permanent. To do so is to deprive us of what may be to follow. Loss makes way for Gain.

The disease is a moral one.

It is our corporate departure from God, before anything else.

Our national creed begins with the acknowledgment of the One Who created us. Its heart is the self-evident truth that our rights to life, liberty and private property come from Him, not from any man, and that those rights are therefore unalienable. It ends with the assertion that the protection of those rights is the primary purpose for the very existence of human government, and that just government can only exist through the consent of the governmed.

Reverence for God and respect for the life and liberty of those that He made in His image form the foundation stones of our liberty. Without that foundation liberty cannot and will not stand. Guaranteed.

Political parties themselves create group think and lead our elected officials away from their constituent’s demands. The “Party” mentality corrupts good intentions after the election is over. The party system as it is today is the root of the problem. The “Tea Party” could act as a “supra-party” that influences debate directly and through pressure of support rather than towing a party line usurped by elites long ago.

Democrat Party is an epithet.

“An abusive or contemptuous word or phrase.”

“They” are the political parties, both Dem AND Republican, and all their supporters that gain favor by their success after elections.

Domocrat = some one who caters to the whims of the mindless masses.

The writer is correct.
