'Washington knows best" is in full swing: President Obama hasn't invited any governors to tomorrow's health-reform summit -- even though states have overseen health insurance for six decades.
Indeed, states' experience ought to guide any bid to reform the system -- some, for example, are making stunning progress in keeping down costs.
Of course, the president and his allies in Congress are eager to exploit some state-level problems -- such as some recent bad news from California.
Health insurer Anthem announced that on March 1, premiums would rise 39 percent, a clear hardship for some Californians. Why? Anthem said the recession caused healthy people to drop coverage, leaving sicker people in the insurance pool; it also blamed a recent change in California law forcing it to sell some kinds of coverage below cost.

Obama doesn’t want to anyone with experience. He also doesn’t want to do things out in the open. Only private scam sessions.
Millions of Americans though do have nearly a religious faith in the the power of government to “do good” for the American people. People like that latch onto the Obamas whenever they come along and do not let go easily.
There are 19 physicians in the House and none of them have been invited either.
Aha... maybe its not really about health insurance. Nothing whatsoever about prescriptions, procedures, health, doctors, nurses, hospitals, insurance.
Perhaps its about power and agenda, statism, marxism.

Can someone (anyone) in the press do some digging and come up with the REAL reason the Democrats and Obama are ramming this monstrosity through, come hell or high water? What is their sense of urgency? I sense there is something or someone behind their madness—like George Soros. Follow the money. That answers every question.

Didn’t Boehner get to choose who is going? If he didn’t pick the docs, he is at fault. If Obama refused to allow them in, then the meeting is a worse sham than I thought.
I suppose that happens when people are not thought to think as individuals.
